Zukerman ChamberPlayers
Brahms: String Quintet No.2, Op.111
Mozart: String Quintet, K.515
'Leading the ChamberPlayers, Pinchas Zukerman gives a wonderful performance of these two works, bringing out their radiant beauty' Amadeus Magazine (Italy) Jan 2007
'The is evenly matched chamber music at its best. Grace and elegance pervade these pieces and a lightness of touch illuminates the counterpoint and the denser textures. There is a tender rather than a dramatic approach, though the final coda in the Brahms is tossed off with panache.... Congratulation to Pinchas Zukerman for cultivating such wonderful music making with the musicians of the future.' Stringendo Magazine - Volume 29 Number 2 2007 (Australia)
'Pinchas Zukerman is playing with a group of younger musicians who are equal to him in every way. They share the attitude that beauty of sound, roundness of tone, and clarity of articulation are the primary goals of chamber music playing. I am very impressed with the extremely high quality of the playing' Elaine Fine - American Record Guide March/April 2007
The Zukerman ChamberPlayers comprise:-

This new recording by the world-famous Pinchas Zukerman and his chamber ensemble was made in New York last summer and is the 1st release under a new multi-disc contract with the Altara label.
These passionate and powerful performances exhibit the strong rapport between these players and we are particularly delighted to be able to issue the Mozart quintet(one of his most profound pieces) in this anniversary year.
